Fellowship noun - friendly association, especially with people who share one's interests. Greek Koinonia (having something in common, sharing, association of persons with similar interests) synonyms: companionship, companionability, sociability, comradeship, camaraderie, friendship, mutual support; togetherness, solidarity; informalchumminess For Kids Fellowship is simply being in a relationship with someone, being one with someone, sharing with someone, working together, walking together, loving each other and having all things in common. When you fellowship with other believers you are identifying with them completely. When you fellowship with God you are identifying with him completely. You cannot be in a relationship with someone who hates you, that is why we cannot fellowship with the world or with the devil because we are becoming one with whoever we are fellowshipping with. Ask God today to open up your eyes more about what it means to be part of the body of Christ. To work together and to have all things in common with other believers. To fellowship with Jesus Christ and to know what it means to identify with his sufferings. Jesus said that if they hated me they will hate you also because no servant is greater than his master. Paul said that anyone who desires to live godly in Christ will be persecuted. May we rejoice right now because we have fellowship together with God. |
